Meet our friendly team of chiropractors

Every member of CT Family Chiropractic team shares a unique philosophy for health.

We are a tightly knit team of 6 dedicated chiros working in unison to deliver unparalleled patient experience. Collectively our team are also fluent in Indonesian, 普通话, Malay and 广东话.

High standards of professionalism are delivered consistently in our practice. We offer a personal experience in a relaxed atmosphere, with more one on one time and treatment individually tailored for you.

Dr. Tara Tjahjono – Principal Chiropractor

Tara graduated from Murdoch University in 2008 with Merit Honours. After graduation she worked as an associate before opening CT Family Chiropractic in August 2010. She was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and migrated to Perth in 1998. 

Tara is married to Alfred, our clinic manager and a proud mum of two active sons. She loves travelling the world, exploring different cultures and shares her experiences via her family travel blog.

Tara is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and is a member of the Chiropractors Association of Australia and International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association.


Dr. Amanda Tsen – Chiropractor

Amanda graduated from Murdoch University in 2007 and in 2011 joined CT Family Chiropractic as our very first associate. She has been certified by the International Chiropractic Paediatrics Association (ICPA). She is passionate in helping pregnant ladies with musculoskeletal complaints that may be experienced throughout pregnancy.

Amanda was born in Malaysia. She is married to Gabriel as well as being proud mum to three beautiful daughters Joanna, Ashleigh & Kristen. She is passionate about helping the community and often volunteers for community work. She also enjoys reading a good book with a cup of tea.

Amanda is fluent in speaking Malay and Cantonese.

Dr Darren Tjahjono – Chiropractor

Darren graduated from Murdoch University in 2016 and is the younger brother of Tara. In addition to athletes rehabilitation, he incorporates dry needling and Y-Strap decompression techniques to achieve optimal results.

Darren was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. He experienced chiropractic during his primary school years which sparked his interest into this profession. He was a former member of the PGA Junior Golf, enjoys playing tennis and is a black belt in taekwondo. He enjoys learning Japanese culture – a country which he has visited numerous times.

Darren is also fluent in Bahasa Indonesia.


Dr Amos Chia – Chiropractor

Amos graduated from Murdoch University in 2011 and joined CT Family Chiropractic family in 2012. He is passionate about giving postural advice and rehabilitative exercises, especially caring for older patients. He promotes positive ageing by improving their quality of life as the population of ageing Australians has grown.

Amos was born in Sabah, Malaysia. Outside the clinic he enjoys listening to music and playing the piano, regularly embarks on a culinary adventure and loves travelling. In maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Amos’ activities include playing badminton.

Amos is fluent in Mandarin, Malay, Cantonese and Hakka.

Dr Jezz Foo Jee Kate – Chiropractor

Jezz graduated from Murdoch University in 2011 and joined CT Family Chiropractic family in 2014. She is personally passionate about caring for women’s health and well-being. Her passion for chiropractic is expressed in her everyday practice.

Jezz is originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Outside of chiropractic Jezz enjoys occasional outings to the beach, cooking and spending time in her organic vegetable garden.

She is fluent conversing in Cantonese, Malay and Hainanese.

Dr Rachel Boon – Chiropractor

Born and raised in Perth, Rachel has always had a commitment to helping people. Through her chiropractic studies, she has developed a passion for seeing people recover, move better and get back to doing what they love.

Rachel particularly caters for the young professionals living busy lifestyles. She provides comprehensive patient treatment and education based on a holistic approach.

Rachel enjoys working with young people and being involved in her community youth group. Outside the clinic, Rachel is an ‘eggs on toast’ enthusiast and is on the search for Perth’s best café. She also enjoys baking, swimming and ice skating.
